Governor Overhaul and Repair Process at Hai Ha M&S:

At Hai Ha M&S, we offer a comprehensive range of mechanical-hydraulic governor services, including overhaul, repair, test, and calibration. Our workshops are fully equipped with specialized tools and test equipment to handle all types of governors. Our overhauls and repairs follow strict quality-controlled procedures, as outlined below:

1. Testing: The governor is tested in our workshop’s test bench to identify any issues and record its operating performance.
2. Disassembly and Inspection: The governor is dismantled, and all components are cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner. Each part is thoroughly inspected to identify any damage or wear.
3. Spare Parts: We provide a report and quote to our customers for any spare parts necessary for the overhaul. Approval is sought before proceeding with the repairs.
4. Assembly: The governor is assembled with new parts and repair kits from our extensive stock. It is then re-coated in our dedicated coating station.
5. Testing: The reconditioned governor is placed back on the test bench and adjusted to the manufacturer’s specifications. It is then tested according to the testing protocol and checklist of the maker.
6. Packing and Dispatch: After completing testing, the governor is packed in a carton box and ready for dispatch.

Adjustment of important factors such as throttle valve opening, static error-coefficient, non-sensitive zone coefficient, compensator needle position, and soft back contact is conducted on the teststand in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. This meticulous testing and adjustment process guarantees that the repaired and maintained governors meet the necessary specifications and are reliable when working with the engine.
